1. Customize and Charge Your Headset

• Connect the battery (replaceable; use only genuine Plantronics batteries).

• Pick your preferred wearing style:

• Attach the charging cradle to the base.

• Plug in the power supply—one end into the base, the other into a power outlet.

2. Connect to Your Desk Phone

• Choose setup type:

  • Standard connection

• Connect desk phone cables to the base as per your configuration.

• Short press the base desk phone button while wearing the headset to take calls.

• No dial tone? Open the base’s side panel and adjust the middle configuration switch (A–G) until you hear a dial tone (default A suits most phones).

• Make a test call from your desk phone. End calls using the headset call control button.

3. Connect to a Mobile Phone (Bluetooth)

• Hold down the Bluetooth pairing button on the Savi base (4 seconds) until the LED flashes red and blue.

• Place your mobile in Bluetooth search mode; select SAVI 7xx.

• If prompted, enter ‘0000’ as the passcode.

• Once paired (LED turns solid blue), short press the base mobile button to answer calls.

• Dial a test call from your mobile, and end using the headset’s call control button.

4. Connect to a Computer (Softphone/USB)

• Connect your Savi base to your computer using the supplied USB cable.

• Download and install Plantronics Hub software from plantronics.com/software for best performance.

• Short press the base computer button while wearing the headset to handle calls.

• Dial a test call using your computer’s softphone software, and end with the headset button.

Key Features & Controls

• Volume/Mute/Flash Button:

  • Short press up to increase volume, down to decrease.

  • Press in to mute/unmute.

  • If worn on the left ear, controls are reversed.

  • Flash: While on a call, long press (1.5 sec) up/down to hold a call and answer another.

• Call Control Button:

  • Short press to answer or end calls.
