The Juniper EX4100-24P is the 24-port PoE+ access switch in Juniper's EX4100 line — the current-generation, cloud-ready replacement class for the EX3400/EX4300 access switches Reef customers already run. It puts 24 Gigabit Ethernet ports with PoE+ on every port into a 1U chassis, sized for the branch office, school, or wiring closet that does not need a full 48-port panel but still needs real uplink headroom for a modern phone, access-point, and camera fleet.

Each access port delivers up to 30 W of PoE+, with a 740 W PoE budget on the single included power supply and up to 1,440 W with a second 920 W supply installed. Fast PoE and perpetual PoE keep endpoints powered through switch reboots and bring power back quickly on power-up — the behavior a closet full of IP phones and APs actually needs. Uplinks are 4 x 10GbE SFP+ ports plus 4 x 25GbE SFP28 ports that serve as additional uplinks or as Virtual Chassis stacking ports, linking up to ten EX4100 switches into one logical device. Switching capacity is 328 Gbps with 244 Mpps of throughput.

The EX4100 runs Junos OS with a full Layer 2/Layer 3 feature set, extends EVPN-VXLAN fabrics out to the access layer, and adds MACsec AES-256 link encryption and group-based-policy microsegmentation for endpoint-level security. It is built for Juniper Mist Wired Assurance: onboard, provision, and manage it from the Mist cloud, with Marvis AI assistance and flow-based telemetry for per-flow visibility. It also runs standalone under Junos CLI — a Mist subscription is an optional management layer, not a requirement, and is not included with this listing.

Hardware is serviceable in the rack: the switch includes one 920 W AC power supply (JPSU-920-AC-AFO, front-to-back airflow) and redundant field-replaceable fan modules installed, supports a second hot-swappable supply for redundancy and full PoE budget, and fits a standard 1U rack space at 17.36 in wide.
