The 2.8-inch main display runs the call interface with 3 line keys, and a 2.4-inch side display handles the DSS keys — 6 physical keys that page through to 30 DSS assignments for busy-lamp field, speed dial, and one-touch transfers. The phone supports 12 SIP lines and 6-way audio conferencing, so a small team call can start right from the desk.

Audio is HD wideband on both the handset and the full-duplex speakerphone, with G.722 and Opus wideband codecs. Headset choices are flexible: an RJ9 headset port, EHS support for wireless headsets with the appropriate EHS cable, Bluetooth through the optional Fanvil BT20 USB dongle, and Wi-Fi through the optional WF20 USB dongle where no network drop is available.

The wired install is standard fleet fare: dual Gigabit Ethernet ports with integrated PoE, so power and data arrive on one cable and the second port bridges through to the desk PC. It is a standards-based SIP phone that auto-provisions via FTP/TFTP/HTTP/HTTPS, DHCP Option 66, SIP PNP, and TR-069. The desk stand adjusts to 45 or 50 degrees, and the phone is wall-mountable with an optional bracket.

Key Specifications

12 SIP lines, 6-way audio conferencing, SIP hotspot and hot desking support

2.8-inch 320 x 240 main color LCD plus 2.4-inch 240 x 320 DSS side color LCD

3 line keys with LED; 6 physical DSS keys with LED, up to 30 DSS keys over 5 pages

HD voice — handset and full-duplex speakerphone; wideband codecs G.722 and Opus, narrowband G.711a/u, G.729A/B and iLBC

RJ9 handset and headset ports; EHS support (Plantronics via APD-80 cable, Jabra via Fanvil EHS20 cable — cables sold separately)

Bluetooth via optional Fanvil BT20 USB dongle and Wi-Fi via optional WF20 USB dongle (dongles sold separately); USB 2.0 port

Dual Gigabit RJ45 ports (Network + PC, bridged) with integrated PoE; DC 5V/2A power input

Local phonebook up to 1,000 entries; remote phonebook (XML/LDAP) up to 1,000 entries; call logs up to 1,000 entries

IPv4/IPv6, SIP over UDP/TCP/TLS, SRTP, 802.1x, VLAN, LLDP, QoS; auto-provisioning via FTP/TFTP/HTTP/HTTPS, DHCP Option 66, SIP PNP, and TR-069

Two-position desktop stand (45° and 50°); wall-mountable (bracket sold separately)

What's included: X4U phone, HD handset with cord, desk stand (back rack), and a 1.5 m CAT5E Ethernet cable.
